When I turned 18, right after high school I bypassed college to travel the United States. Hitchhiked mostly where ever I went. From 1970 to 1974 I traveled from coast to coast and north to south. I would settle for a few months in a place, get a job to hold me over, and then move on to meet new people and see new places. But I would always return to my hometown where I still live today.
