American Association for the Advancement of Science

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is the largest international federation of scientists and scientific societies in the world, with more than 141,000 individual members and nearly 300 affiliated scientific organizations and academies of science. AAAS is a non-profit
organization dedicated to the public's understanding of science and technology, and to responsible scientific advancement across all disciplines. Project 2061 is AAAS's long-term nationwide initiative to improve science, mathematics, and technology education for all students.
