Amato, Theresa

Theresa Amato was the all-American kid who set records selling Girl Scout cookies and was valedictorian of her high school class. She discovered that, when it came to presidential politics, the American ideals she pledged allegiance to as a teenager were not always put into practice in the country that drew her family to Ellis Island. A graduate of Harvard and NYU Law School, she practices law in Chicago and lives in Oak Park, Illinois.
