David Alzofon is a columnist for American Songwriter magazine (americansongwriter.com). He is also the author of two books on music: "Compose Yourself" and "Mastering Guitar" (published by Simon & Schuster), He is also a former Assistant Editor for Guitar Player magazine, where his duties included feature stories and editing multiple instruction columns.
