Altsheler, Joseph

Joseph A. Altsheler (1862-1919) was born in rural Three Springs of Hart County, Kentucky and became an American reporter. He also created several series of books including The French and Indian War Series and the eight-volume Young Trailers Series featuring young frontiersman Henry Ware: Other series involve the Great West, Civil War, World War, and Texas.
