Craig H. Allen is the Judson Falknor Professor of Law at the University of Washington, where he teaches maritime and international law. He is a retired Coast Guard officer and cutterman who formerly held the Charles Stockton Chair in International Law at the U.S. Naval War College and served as a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Maritime Studies at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Visiting Professor at Yale Law School.
