Mr. Mohammed Ali was born in a very respectable Muslim family of Barisal town, Bangladesh. He has completed his B.A.Honors degree in History [1967] from Dhaka University, Bangladesh and Master degree in History [1968].His main subjects in History were History/archaeology/Architecture. He joined in the government service Department of Archaeology, Ministry of Culture, Pakistan. After the liberation of Bangladesh he joined in Bangladesh and started Rebuilding the Department of Archaeology and Museums under the Ministry of Culture, Government of Bangladesh.
