Alex Alexander's alter ego is known as Harry Alexander. After a building collapsed around him in 2001 the Army sent him packing. He traveled the country working as an outdoor educator, mountain guide, and counselor. After vowing to give up social work for good, he went back to school to study bio-technology. He currently lives in the north western US with his wife and son. When not writing he makes his living as, you guessed it, a social worker.
