Freda Pongetti has loved this wonderful story since she was a little girl growing up in Texas. One Christmas her parents gave her "Why the Chimes Rang." She never forgot the special message of the magical tale, and took almost 3 years to create the gentle world of Pedro and Little Brother. Artist and college instructor with a Masters Degree in Architecture, she now lives in Irvine, CA.
