Paul Agnew has had a carreer in sport journalism, was twice named Northwest Sportswriter of theYear (England), was correspondent for the BBC, was made the youngest chief executive in The Football League in 1991, and still reports on soccer football for the Sunday Mirrir and the Press Association.
