Aegisson, Sigurdur

Sigurour AEgisson is an Icelandic ethnozoologist. He's written four books; the first one in 1996 on Icelandic birds (Isfygla: Aves Islandicae; published in Icelandic only), the second one in 1997, on Icelandic whales (Islenskir hvalir: fyrr og nu; in English: Icelandic whales: past and present, and in German: Die Wale Islands: Geschichte und Gegenwart), the third one in 2008, on Icelandic beastlore (Islenskar kynjaskepnur; in English: Meeting with monsters), and the fourth one in 2010 on whales of the North Atlantic (Hvalir; in English: Whales).
