Adkins, Mel

Born in 1947 in Guymon Oklahoma, Mel Adkins has lived a part of his life in the great state of Alaska, and has prospected its rivers and streams, lived and trapped in remote areas of the state, and drove a dog team from Anchorage to Nome, a total of one thousand and forty nine miles across untamed wilderness. He now resides with his family in southern Utah.
