Lori Cole grew up under the very challenging circumstances of living on welfare under the influence of an alcoholic father. Coping with these realities drove her to seek refuge in the imagination of her mind for survival. Having succeeded in triumphing over those difficult circumstances, Mrs. Cole was free to develop her creative skills. She served a mission in New England after which she attended Ricks College and graduated with a degree in illustration from Brigham Young University.
