Angela Adams grew up in the foothills of North Carolina, living an idyll childhood in close proximity to her extended family. Her father was the Chief of Police of Yadkinville and her Pa and Mamaw were the jailors at the Yadkin County Jail. Until she started elementary school, she and her sister stayed with my grandparents at the jail each day. She learned so much about life and real living there with my grandparents.
