Rodolfo F. Acuna is a professor of Chicana/o studies at California State University, Northridge. As an activist, scholar, and founder of the largest Chicana/o studies department in the nation, he has been a contributor to the Mexican American community for decades. He has been honored with numerous awards, among them three Gustavus Myers awards for outstanding books on race relations in North America and is the winner of a Choice outstanding Academic Title Award.
