MDG 8 is a commitment by all countries to co-operate and share resources to achieve the first seven MDGs. However, achieving MDG 8 does not only depend on the individual countries but also on the international organisations that have dedicated themselves to ensuring that countries meet this goal. The author uses South African and Zambian perspectives as a basis of her argument.
