Kurt Mueller-Vollmer studied in Germany, France, Spain and the USA. He holds a Master's Degree in American Studies from Brown University and a doctorate in German Studies and Humanities from Stanford University, where he taught for over 40 years. His major publications concentrate in the areas of Hermeneutics, Comparative Literature and the work of Wilhelm von Humboldt.

Paul Corley studied political theory, philosophy and German studies at Stanford University and in Freiburg im Breisgau, specialized in phenomenology and hermeneutics, and earned a Stanford German Studies PhD under Kurt Mueller-Vollmer. Paul Corley is also an attorney in California and Florida.

Kurt Mueller-Vollmer studierte in Deutschland, Frankreich, Spanien und den USA.
