Klein made his name above all with his large, monochrome canvases in his own, patented hue of blue. Hannah Weitemeier war eine deutsche Kunsthistorikerin und Autorin. Sie war in den 1980er-Jahren in West-Berlin als Kuratorin tätig. Ihr besonderes Interesse galt der Düsseldorfer Künstlergruppe ZERO, die von der künstlerischen Praxis der monochromen Bilder von Yves Klein, Piero Manzoni und Lucio Fontana beeinflusst war.
