Do not all the saints in Heaven cry to Thee: 'Justice Avenge ' Do not all the just upon the earth say: 'Amen, Come, Lord Jesus.' All, even the least sensitive, groan beneath the weight of the innumerable sins of Babylon and long for Thy coming to make all things new. 'All creation groans. Priests free in Thee, detached from all ties according to the flesh, from friends according to the world, from all worldly cares and even from their own will. Slaves of Thy love and Thy will; men after Thy own heart who without that self-will which mars and checks, shall do Thy will and overthrow Thy enemies even as David did, and the Cross shall be their staff and the Rosary their sling. Souls above earthly things upon whom the heavenly dew has fallen and who unhindered pass hither and thither as the Spirit moves them. They are of those whom the Prophets foreknew when they asked: 'Who are these that fly like clouds?' Men ever ready to Thy hand, ever ready to obey Thee and their superiors like Samuel: 'I am ready, ' ever ready to hasten and suffer with Thee and for Thee, even as were the Apostles: "Let us go, too, that we may die with Him."
