Much is written and taught about the subject of prayer, yet it still can be one of those areas of our Christian life that is least understood and most neglected. As Christians today, especially while studying the New Testament and applying the principles to our present-day lives, we tend to forget that Jesus was a Jew. As a Jew, He would have faithfully observed all the Jewish festivals, followed all the commands (mitzvot) of the Bible and the Talmud, and committed His life to fulfilling all the requirements of God's law in the daily life of a Jew. This seven or thirteen lesson study looks at Jewish prayer from the life of Jesus, an observant Jew, and how those prayers continue to apply to our lives today.
