Work That Works is a process of using Emergenetics tools and principles to build a more effective company. The principles include:

The Language of Grace - this principle starts with choosing different language patterns and words. As the user becomes more familiar with the idea and applies it more frequently, thinking patterns begin to change and this evolves into behavioral changes. The language becomes empowering and highly effective for behavioral change.

  • Honoring the Thinking and Behavioral Preferences of Others - Once our clients receive their profiles they understand these preferences and their own strengths. They then interact with their (coworkers, team mates, family members, etc.) with each person sharing their profile. The process is invigorating to every person who participates and they begin to develop an appreciation for the gifts they bring to the table. Through the process, they learn how to honor other's strengths and preferences and how -borrowing another person's brain- yields to better communication and interactions.

  • Developing WETeams - This is a process where teams are built based on Thinking and Behavioral preferences. It recognizes the most internal differences each individual brings by addressing cognitive diversity. When individuals are brought into this principle it becomes a unifying factor where everyone has gifts to offer and the offering is based on who they truly are, how they think instead of more visible elements of their diversity (i.e. gender, race, age, etc.)
Work That Works can be applied to an array of organizations with successful results. The same principles (and similar tools) that build a successful business, are being applied to enhance classroom interactions between teachers and students. Emergineering is also being used by collegiate and professional sports teams to increase competitiveness on the field of play. Most recently, we have used it with families to simplify communication and connection.
