The state as the custodian of resources and fiscal responsibilities to the citizens and international community of nations and agencies, Nigeria, continued to be found wanting and lagging in delivering good governance, protection and empowering women in the 21st century. This book provide an academic insight into the nature, processes and outcomes of women empowerment in a sub-federation of Nigeria: Kaduna State. The findings of the study will be useful in exhibiting and illustrating the patterns and outcomes of the state empowerment programmes. Furthermore, the status of the women will be illustrated and understood in relation to the quality of life and the impacts such have on the roles, relationships, communities and societies. Mustaha Abdullahi Aliyu, is a lecturer in Kaduna Polytechnic, Department of Social Sciences. He holds B.Sc Sociology and M.Sc Social Policy from Bayero University, Kano. He has PhD interest in Sociology of Development. He is an acadeics of repute with publications in several Nigerian and International Journals.
