An ordinary family man is told he's terminally ill, so he decides to kill the people he feels have taken him for a fool before he's to sick to manage it. It's something he'd thought about before but getting caught and going to prison did not appeal, now if he were caught he'd probably be dead before his trial, so he begins. He kills these people for what may seem trivial reasons but he's paranoid about being taken for a fool, it's not always about what they did it's thinking him to stupid to notice that sets him off, after he'd killed a few people he's given some news that could change things. He decides to carry on only now he takes more care, he tries to make the murders look like accidents or suicides anything but murder. The main character is English, he lives in Germany and has a business in London, so he travels back and forth on a regular basis, killings occur in both countries. When he'd killed most of the people he wanted to for personal reasons, he starts killing for more valid reasons which will become apparent.
