It is with much humility and appreciation for me to be asked to do the foreword for this much needed book. I know it to be a work from the heart of our author. A work that at times I believed has caused many moments of anxiety for its raw truthfulness and the obvious negative results it may bring from those in the religious community who will judge our author for daring to deal with such a sensitive matter. She boldly presents it without any regard to the backlash it is sure to bring. Finally, a book that reaches in and brings spiritual transparency to the body of Christ, because of one who has courage to address some of the pertinent issues which plaque the Christian community. Those who have suffered in silence, because of their own negative and personal thoughts of condemnation can seek relief from someone who understands their pain and isolation that comes from an indiscretion though not disclosed publicly, but yet one that is impossible to comfortably share with the religious community. The reason is obvious for the fear of being judged and ostracized. The result is to suffer in silence and deal with pain and frustration in the interim. Consequently the inner suffering becomes a greater too, for the enemy to accuse the believer. Our author takes a revealing look at the inner man with a view of setting the accused free. (Romans 8:1) We are shown God has entered the earth realm of mankind. The intent of God is to set the captives free. (Luke 4:16-19) Jesus came with good news to address every issue that confronts us. He came to release each of us from the bondage of self-condemnation and defeat. It was the intent of our Savior to both save us and bring deliverance from the dark world, which left alone feeds our private dysfunction. I believe this book of victory will open the eyes of every believer threatened by secret sin that was succumbed to in a moment of weakness. The intent here is to alleviate the pain of our inner guilt. It tells us God seeks us out. There is a solution for our problem. (John 10:10) It has always been and will continue to be the predetermined purpose of our God to redeem every area of the lives of His elect. Nothing will hinder that mission. We were chosen of God to bring glory and honor to His name. No matter how long this condition pervades our spiritual conscious, God will come through. (Mark 5:25-34) I believe our author thoroughly reaches into the word of God and extracts for us the guidance we have grown to expect from God word alone. Through the reality of personal experience our author uses as a lynch pin for the foundational intent for the reader. I think this makes it believable as it invades our innermost thoughts in order to reach a solution for the reader. It is the personal experience of our writer, which authenticates the condition and remedy. You are encouraged to stop suffering silently and take the first step towards your deliverance and read this presentation objectively, allow it to minister to you and see God take you to a wonderful place in Him.
