This study on the birth of the Twelve Sons of Israel details the literal meaning of their name, the scripture reference in which it is located in the Hebrew canon, and a short devotional note on the importance of the son's name to the mother and the overall story of the birth of Israel itself. It is intended for individual and group discussion and offers a series of questions derived from secondary passages found elsewhere in the Hebrew and New Testament canon of the Holy Scriptures. This extended edition offers larger print and extra pages for notes in the very back. I have invested at least two years into the study of the material mentioned in this book. I have poured over the text in both the original language of Hebrew and other sources such as the Greek translation of the Old Testament (Septuagint/ LXX) and various English translations. This study began as a personal investment that has turned into a study that I simply cannot leave to myself, and I believe bears a message that is necessary for other believers and non-believers alike in a world and age where love and approval and oftentimes and shamefully blended together.
