It gives me a great pleasure to present the book which contains a omprehensive account of the diversity of weeds of Gandhinagar district. The book has seven chapters. Chapter-I an Introduction deals with various aspects related to weed and study area. The chapter-II of the book contains literature review. The chapter-III contains experiments which cover the analysis of weeds. The chapter-IV cotains artificial key to family, genera and species. This also covers the description of each weed species. The major findings of this report have been mentioned at chapter-V where the distribution and classification of weeds has been discussed based on the findings of this study. This chapter also covers the list of recorded weed species and photograph of each weed species. The chapter-VI contains summery and chapter-VII cotains references which referred to in all chapters. I hope that this book would be found useful by the Universities, Scientists, Agriculture department, taxonomists, researchers etc.
