Water, water everywhere but not a single drop to drink the situation is same in the region of Vhabodah where water is the name of miseries. When water is gathered permanently over crop land, the situation is called water logging . The wetland area Vhabadah is situated in the South-western part of Bangladesh. At 1957-58, British engineer MacDonald was appointed as a consultant about the cause of flood at Vhabadah and how it can be solved. At 1959 WAPDA appointed International Engineering Co. to solve this problem. WAPDA makes a sluice gate in Vhabadah region. Some betterment also gets general people but, after the 1990 decade this sluice gaits creates water logging problem. About 10,00,000 people of 200 villages in Khulna-Jessore region were affected by water logging. It hampered their economic status, decrease their happiness and total livelihood pattern also changed. Various types of programs have been taken but all are proved as unwise and unsuccessful. Public demand and government activities are in different way. So, for the betterment of the people of this region the government and the people would have to coordinate each other.
