Dr. Sunita Varjani is a Scientific Officer at Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Her major areas of research are Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology, Wastewater Treatment & Process Engineering, Bioprocess Technology, and Waste Management. 

Dr. Izharul Haq is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Microbiology from CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, India. He has expertise in bioremediation and detoxification of emerging pollutants from industrial wastewater using microbial approaches. 

Professor Ashok Pandey is currently a Distinguished Scientist at the Centre for Innovation and Translational Research, CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, India, and Executive Director (Honorary) at the Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability, India.

Dr. Vijai Kumar Gupta is a Senior Fellow and Group Leader at the Center for Safe and Improved Foods & Biorefining and Advanced Materials Research Center, SRUC, Edinburgh, UK. He is the Secretary of the European Mycological Association and Visiting Professor at SCBG-China; SZIU-Hungary; USTM-India. 

Dr. Xuan-Thanh Bui is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam. He earned a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. He serves as the Chairman of the Department. of Water Science & Technology and head of VNU-HCM Key Laboratory of Advanced Waste Treatment Technology.
