Tobias Heuer is thirty-one, living in the German city of Hamburg, with his wife and his Greater Swiss Mountain Dog James. The most books he is reading himself are in the genre of urban fantasy. He is always fascinated when an author succeeds in combining something mysterious with the real world in a way that seems logical. Furthermore, Tobias appreciates novels that are entertaining and thrilling from the first page on, so that the reader does not have to wait long before the central plot begins. His goal is to create modern fairytales for adults that provide his readers with a break from everyday life. That is also what he had in mind when he wrote "Till we fall". In general, he was inspired by other urban fantasy authors like Erin Morgenstern, Eowyn Ivey, Ali Shaw and Audrey Niffenegger.
