Uptake and Phytoaccumulation of Chromium for Some Commonly Grown Trees

The aim of the trail was to study the impact of Cr on seed germination and growth of Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Millittia ferruginea, and Ricinus communis and to see storage of metal use of phytoremediation. For Cr extraction plant parts were separately collected, oven dried, milled, and digested read using AAS. The shoots and roots of Ricinus communis showed a good Cr storage capacity followed by Millittia ferruginea and Eucalyptus camaldulensis.
