The Editors: Jost Hermand is Vilas Research Emeritus Professor of German at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Honorary Professor at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
Klaus L. Berghahn has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 1967 and holds the Weinstein-Bascom chair in German and Jewish studies.
