Twice loved is a one act dramatic play for small theatre groups and radio. It is set in one room, the stately drawing room of Whinsthorpe Grange, where a crisis family meeting has been called by Viscount Peregrine Whinsthorpe, to decide on the future of his youngest son, the wayward, embarrassing Charles. Peregrine's other two sons, a colonel and a vicar, are in agreement that he should be packed off far away to save the family name from further disgrace. Charles' appeal to his mother, Lady Whinsthorpe, falls on deaf ears, but after all the home truths have been levelled against him he has a few surprises of his own. This is a traditional play with a beginning, a middle and an end and has already been produced by a cast of six Millside Radio players for Kingsmill Hospital patients. The play is set in the late 1960's to early seventies.
