José Aureliano Betancourt Bethencourt graduated from the University of Havana (Cuba) as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. He worked during 1978-2006 as a specialist in Epidemiology and Animal Reproduction, since 2006 assistant professor of Public Health at the University of Medical Sciences.
