With the increase of large scale web applications and introduction of cloud computing, demands for data storage systems are much more. Existing techniques and models for interacting with transactions work well for the traditional model of single database systems, but the requirement is that it should work with heterogeneous, distributed and scalable database systems. In this book we have considered workload heterogeneity. The physical machine heterogeneity can be considered in the further work. The framework takes small files for uploading on the cloud storage systems. It can be further enhanced to support larger file size. Also, heterogeneity of the types of files can be increased. As we have seen in the results, the framework takes more time to time to upload data per millisecond on cloud storage systems, which means throughput of the system, can be improved by using relevant algorithms. Data security is always a critical issue while data is traveling over the internet and stored on the cloud storage systems. Advanced security techniques can be used in the framework to achieve more security while user data is traveling through the internet and cloud storage systems.
