Currently, the Peruvian population lacks the ideal conditions of security to develop their activities freely, due to the presence of many factors such as crime, drug trafficking, corruption and gangs. This situation is compounded by the exploitation of minors and family violence, which in turn generate the child sex trade, alcohol and drug consumption, human trafficking, the use of weapons and others that affect the condition of security and well-being. It is important to consider that an optimum level of security is a prerequisite for the development of a country and, consequently, this problem has an impact on the economy and the development of citizens, institutions and the State as a whole. The lack of citizen security in Metropolitan Lima affects Peru's development, since almost a third of the country's population is concentrated in this province, which is the seat of State power and the main centre of economic and political activity.
