Bruno Simma, bis 2002 Universitätsprofessor für Völkerrecht und Europarecht an der Universität München. Mitglied der Affiliate Overseas Faculty der University of Michigan. Mitglied der International Law Commission der Vereinten Nationen. Rechtsbeistand in verschiedenen Verfahren vor dem Internationalen Gerichtshof. Seit 6. Januar 2003 Richter am Internationalen Gerichtshof in Den Haag Prof. Dr. Rudolf Streinz hatte den Lehrstuhl für Öffentliches Recht, Völker- und Europarecht der Universität Beyreuth inne. 2003 wechselte er an die Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München auf den Lehrstuhl für Öffentliches Recht und Europarecht.
