Bill Bramwell is Professor of International Tourism Studies at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He is co-founder and co-editor of the Journal of Sustainable Tourism, and he has published widely on tourism policy and planning, tourism development in differing economic and political contexts, and sustainable tourism. Bernard Lane is Visiting Research Fellow at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, and co-founder and co-editor of the Journal of Sustainable Tourism. He is a consultant on sustainable tourism development and management with extensive experience in Europe, Asia and Australia at national, regional and local levels.
