My mom gave me a very old picture of us kissing, about 20 years ago. My mom passed in 2005. She is still alive in my mind. That picture is still hanging on my office wall, and I have reproduced it in several of my books. As I am writing this to you, Judy, and I, our relationship, is alive and well. True, the picture is a black and white still life, about two and a half inches wide, by four high. Not everyone in this world prefers to have a close, personal relationship, from a betrothed point of view. There are those who prefer to be in a "special friends" relationship. This keeps the government out of your personal life. This is my personal preference. The quality of any relationship, marriage mate, special friend, friend, family, is what both partners put into it, and do not put into it. Then there are those who have many good acquaintances, and some not so good, and stay on that comfort level. Those who will have nothing to do with any social contacts, it is by choice, and/or circumstance. The result of a merciless event, painful betrayal, or loss of someone who was empowered by you, to be allowed a great intimacy. This person, who dwelled in your heart, was suddenly taken away. Not by choice Some will fill the void, fill in a niche, or carry a great void, with alcohol, drugs, or stay in a emotional state of denial, and keep running away from relationship reality. Relationships are a part of the reality of life, and the reality of life, can be brutally cruel. Yet, it will be what you make of it. If these stop running, just to catch their breath, to stop but for a moment, it will catch up to them All of these scenarios have a relationship with something. you will find it in this "Touched...Relationship Fulfillment " series. What you will find, is what you need. and things greater than that. If you are in a fulfilled relationship, you will make it better. Then there is the rest of us. A relationship is always a living thing. the differences are at two levels. The first involves the differences between you, and your companion. The second, the numbers. New marriages, new separations, new divorces, a record of sold properties that are owned by cohabitating partners.
