O autorze

Ian G. Kennedy studierte Kunstgeschichte in Cambridge und am Courtauld Institute der Universität London. Fast drei Jahrzehnte lang war er als Kunsthändler bei Christie's in New York beschäftigt und arbeitete bis 2013 als Kurator für europäische Gemälde am Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. Heute lebt und arbeitet er in Chapel Hill.
