Photographs tell stories of its actors, it takes to remote times where the instant is captured and therefore a piece of life of its protagonists. From this approach have emerged some positions that propose photography as a vehicle to retell the story, to return to a past that is full of experiences, some may be beautiful memories, but others are full of pain. At the moment a photograph is captured, priority is given to a certain angle, a privilege is established with respect to what is caught by the lens. A photograph shows an epoch in time, a protagonist and a context. On the protagonists it is possible to observe what they are doing, it is possible to infer their state of mind by their non-verbal language. The present research is a memory of a mediation process carried out with students in the second and third grades of secondary school in vulnerable conditions. For the purposes of this book, the perspective of photography is taken as a mediating function, enabling introspection, improving interpersonal relationships, activating positive social change and strengthening communities.
