The valgus foot is a stato-dynamic disorder that is very present in the population. Through the articular chains, the excessive valgisation of the rear foot has an impact on the entire musculoskeletal system. It therefore causes disturbances in postural control.The chiropodist is often called upon to manage this deformity. The posterior supinator element, an element of plantar orthoses whose purpose is to straighten the calcaneus during the taligrade and plantigrade phases of walking, is used. However, its effectiveness has not been demonstrated. It is therefore interesting to study the effect of an insole with a posterior supinator element on postural control.The panel recruited was made up of patients who were all in good health (asymptotic and without disorders affecting their balance), with valgus feet (hindfoot valgus). The tool used was a baropodometric platform. The parameters studied are the length, average speed and trajectory of the displacement of the centre of plantar pressures. These parameters make it possible to quantify the postural control during walking with and without correction.
