At age twelve she migrated with her parents and seven siblings from Shetland to Tasmania, Australia. She graduated with an R.N. degree, and set out across the pacific to U.S.A. enroute back to Scotland, where she had been accepted into a graduate program. However, she met and married her engineer husband in Denver, Colorado. They have four children, seven grandchildren and a great grandson due in September. She is well known as a speaker and teacher in both the U.S., and overseas. She lived in South Korea and China and has travelled extensively. "The Wonder of Seven" is her third book. The first, "Destination Holiness" is a daily devotional; and "Life by the Lynn," published in 2011 is about experiences with her husband, as Caretakers at an Alaskan Retreat Centre.
