Sebastian Meschenmoser was born in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1980. He studied fine arts in Mainz, Germany. The Children's Book Fair in Bologna has praised him for being one of the most innovative new international illustrators. Meschenmoser is the author of Mr. Squirrel and the Moon, Gordon and Tapir, and Pug Man's 3 Wishes, all of which have won kudos in the United States.
