Michelle Cuevas graduated from Williams College and holds a master of fine arts degree in creative writing from the University of Virginia. She is the author of three children s novels, including the acclaimed Confessions of an Imaginary Friend. She lives in Berkshire County in Massachusetts.
 
Erin E. Stead is the award-winning illustrator of five picture books, including the Caldecott Medal winner A Sick Day for Amos McGee and the Boston Globe Horn Book Honor winner And Then It's Spring. She lives in a 100-year-old barn in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with her husband, author and illustrator Philip C. Stead.
