The Time of New Love, Volume Three of the 'Quest of the Solar Flower' trilogy, concludes the epic gnostic science fiction mega-myth, set 156 years after the Old Earth's Armageddon.
In this final stage of the Quest, the Sheng-lai once again become an eight tribe Hai; the eight nations of the Solar Flower continent find union; and Joe Paz and comrades take on a fleet of Bamboolian space pirates in the newly designed super star-yacht Tao-Ceti.
Later, the key questers travel through the Central-Tao-Voidgate at the very heart of the four universes to view the seemingly endless rainbow wall which surrounds and protects the Central-Tao-Galaxy wherein dwell both the hidden planet Aurora and the Holy Sun Absolute.
Finally, the three Solar Petals are taken through the Central-Tao-Voidgate to unite with the Aurora Petal known as the Sceptre of Perception and Seeing. Here the minute seeming starscout Feh 418 and the star-yacht Tao-Ceti face a mega-fleet of Quindi, Grrllrrgh, Chor and Bamboolian star-craft.
Will the Quindi god Amafakazata the Silent succeed in his own quest to end Creation in entirety? Or will the completion of the sacred Solar Flower result in an orgasmic out-flowing of Pure Spirit which will boost the evolution of all species in the mighty Megalocosmos?
The Time of New Love includes the Author's Afterword and the two glossaries which appear at the end of the single volume version of Quest of the Solar Flower: a Gaian Glossary (an A-Z of Spanish and lesser known Gaian words with definitions), and a Deyan/Sheng Glossary (an A-Z of Deyan/Sheng words with translations). Also included in the eBook version are three illustrations comprising four views of the super starscout Feh 418, though these like the cover will appear in greyscale (black and white) on basic Kindle e-readers.
"Quest of the Solar Flower is rewarding, deep, compelling, fun, action-packed, bizarre, erotic, mystical, spiritual and quite excellent indeed. ... there seems to be a resurgence in literature that makes you think. This one is ably augmented by action, sex and stuff that is seriously cool." Jill de Laat, Melrose Books.
The Time of New Love was previously titled The Big Time in the first edition.
