In using a postmodern approach, the author tries to develop an alternative picture of terroristic actors, including their rationality, their motivation and their subjective moral justification. The reason for this ambivalent approach is found in the authors deep conviction, that it is crucial to understand this antagonist in order to implement accurate and efficient measures to face the threat of international terrorism."
