Mark Edele, Ph.D., is Hansen Chair in History at the University of Melbourne and Australian Research Council Future Fellow (2015–19). Before coming to the University of Melbourne he taught for over a decade at the University of Western Australia (2004–17). He began his teaching career as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Chicago.
