Hossein Khosrowjah has been teaching at the Department of Visual Studies at the California College of the Arts since 2011. Previously, he taught courses, including film and media and visual studies, at San Francisco State University, UC Berkeley, University of Rochester, Eastman School of Music, Saint John Fisher, and SUNY Brockport. His journal essays and reviews on topics ranging from film to exilic autobiography have been published widely. He received his doctorate from the University of Rochester's Program in Visual and Cultural Studies in 2010.
