Lenore Marcantonio's "The Sandwich Generation" is an entertaining and enlightening story of a lifestyle which is all too common in today's society. This occurs when adults find themselves in the situation where they must not only care for their own family, but must also provide for the needs of their aging parents. They are 'sandwiched' between generations.
The author shares her life experiences with the intent of helping those who can relate to her circumstances. In times of stress, hopefully, the reader will see that these are survivable times. Often, people do not give themselves credit for their achievements...they are much stronger than they believe themselves to be.
