Christian doctrine maintains that we must believe in Jesus and his death for our sins in order to be saved and spend eternity in heaven with God. What kind of a God would condemn to hell those who have never heard of Jesus, who have a distorted view of Jesus, or who do not have sufficient evidence to convince them Jesus is any different than any other great moral teacher? 2. What kind of God would make us finite (which means our ability to know what is true is limited) and then condemn us to hell for eternity for not believing in Jesus' death and resurrection for our sins (an event for which we cannot have certain proof because we are finite). 3. What kind of God would place over 70 verses in the Bible that teach salvation is through belief in God or through our conduct, pattern of behavior, motivation, use of abilities, and repentance if salvation is solely through belief in Jesus and his death for our sins? The above questions have been asked for ages and are still being asked. The fact that we still discuss these issues demonstrates Christians have not been successful in answering them. On an issue as important as our eternal salvation, God is not trying to confuse us or make it so complicated we cannot understand it so there must be an answer to these questions. In this book, we propose a solution that is Biblically based and addresses all these questions.
